On Cara you pick a character and get to know them through chat. They stay in character. They are not a search engine, a coding assistant or a replacement for the people in your life.
Emotional conversations
Cara is made for chats that feel personal: a check-in after a long day, flirty banter, a little support, a story that builds over weeks. Characters answer in character, so the conversation stays in the scene.
Characters who remember
Characters remember details from your chats, so a conversation picks up where you left it. Memory isn't permanent or complete: a character can miss or forget details.

Roleplay
Emotional, romantic, playful and everyday roleplay all work here. Write what you do between asterisks (*waves*) and it shows in italics, the same way the characters' actions do.
Photos from the conversation
Selected characters (Camila, Amber, Cara, Aria, and Lila) can send photos inspired by the conversation. Not every character does, and Cara isn't a standalone image editor.
Appearance options
On characters that offer it, pick a Slim, Curvy or Thick body type. Their photos and the images they send follow your choice.
Chat in your browser
Cara AI Chat runs in any modern browser on a computer or a phone, at chat.caraaichat.com. Sign in with your Google account and pick a character. On a phone you can add it to your home screen.
Free every day, Cara Plus when you want more
A free account gets 30 chats and 1 image a day, refreshed every day. Cara Plus costs $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year and raises that to up to 1,000 chats and 10 images a day, with Quality mode for sharper images. It renews until you cancel.
Who Cara AI Chat is for
Cara AI Chat is for people 16 and older who want emotional character chat and roleplay. It isn't made for children, and it isn't therapy.
Important limitations
AI characters can be wrong, inconsistent or forgetful, and memory isn't complete recall. Photos come only from selected characters. Treat every chat as fiction, not as advice on health, legal or money decisions.
